Introduction



The mountain provides a unique environment in which to enjoy doing
nature activities. In the mountains we find inaccessible places, and
especially great tranquility and fresh air. But the mountain is also a
complex environment that requires knowledge of all possible hazards and
appropriate resources to anticipate them and our business in order to
develop properly.


The course will seek knowledge that will allow you to properly draw a
route on a map and orient yourself, you also provide basic knowledge of
mountain safety and everything you need to know about equipment and
materia
ls needed to safely practice this discipline .




Objective of the course,
This course is intended to acquire the necessary skills that allow you to practice safely and effectively for mountain tours in summer. Learn the basic techniques of guidance in the mountains, becoming familiar with all the equipment normally used in mountaineering, and training in the design of routes, environmental knowledge, bivouacs, and basic knowledge of meteorology.

● Material and basic equipment for mountaineering.
● Mountain guidance techniques.
● Preparation and design of routes.
● Techniques of progression on different grounds.
● Camping and bivouac.
● Awareness and Prevention of hazards.
● Elements of Meteorology.

Necessary equipment,
● Appropriate clothing for the activity, depending on the time of completion of the course.
● Hiking boots (trekking).
● Compass.
● backpack.
● spare clothing.
● Mac or similar.
● Cap.
● Sunscreen.
● Water and some food (nuts, fruit, chocolate, cookies, …).

Minimum requirements
- You do not need mountaineering experience
- Land Being or having an accident insurance covering sports activities to be carried
(Since we can manage your card Todovertical federal, or accident insurance for 9 € / day)
