Jotunheimen "The land of giants" is a mountain and a national park with an area of approximately 3 500 square kilometers. You can ski for several days, going from cabin to cabin, or stay a day from one of the hotels, chalets or traditional inns. For true lovers of skiing, Jotunheimen is very popular in spring and summer. Small towns and Vaga Beitostølen are good starting points for your adventure skiing. If you want to achieve great heights of Hindsæter leave and head toward the peak Nautgardstind (2 258 m), or go to Valdresflya to reach the peak Rasletind (2 105 m). The Trail of Trolls This is a ski run entirely marked crossing miles of untouched nature between Høvringen and the Rondane National Park north to south and Lillehammer, through Ringebufjellet. It is very varied, sometimes through mountains. The track has a length of about 170 kilometers and is normally marked from 1 February until Easter at least. The track of Peer Gynt A trail marked well prepared and which passes through the mountains west of the valley Gudbrandsdalen. Less than 30 minutes from downtown, over 2 000 kilometers of ski trails lead you back to the depths of quiet forests. Aures complex There are ski slopes skiing in most resorts for winter sports, as Geilo, Hemsedal and Trysil, which allow you to combine cross-country and downhill skiing with other activities for winter fun.
