Orientation Mountain – Careers Guidance

Introduction

Have some minimal knowledge of guidance to enable us to move safely and
effectively in the environment of the middle and upper mountain. For any
mountaineer, climber, mountaineer and skier should be a fundamental
part of sports training. We currently have very effective technology for
targeting mountain, but given its limitations should know and practice
traditional methods of map and compass orientation..




Objective of the course,

Putting theory and practical knowledge we have learned in the previous level to achieve successful completion, two different circuits mountain guide.

Contents of the course,
● Elements of cartography.
● Interpretation of map elements.
● Maps and types.
● compasses and altimeters.
● Obtaining and tracking directions.
● Career Guidance.

Necessary equipment,

● Appropriate clothing for the activity, depending on the time of completion of the course.
● Hiking boots (trekking).
● Compass.
● Kit mountain.
(Recommended) arómetro Altimeter
● backpack.
● spare clothing.
● Mac or similar.
● Cap.
●.Sunscreen
● Water and some food (nuts, fruit, chocolate, cookies, …).

- You do not need mountaineering experience
- Land Being or having an accident insurance covering sports activities to be carried
(Since we can manage your card Todovertical federal, or accident insurance for 9 € / day)
