How to succeed in its resolutions?

more physical activities … You’re not alone! Take a resolution is easy, but to
finish it is a different story!
Here are six steps to move from words to deeds!
1 – Set a goal or a resolution …
Only training can become boring, but by giving a training goal that is
motivating! … For example, I want to do the half marathon in September Nordic
Walking in 2:33 minutes. This represents an average of 9 km / hour with a copy
Nordic walking technique. My sub-goal is to develop my lung capacity (I have
asthma) and my physical stamina.
2 – Identify ways to achieve the
I’m having fun and discipline necessary to enable me to devote at least 2
times formatting week. Obviously I’m not going to gym, for cons, I will focus my
favorite activities and get motivated to train two times per week:
Winter: March Nordic , telemark, ice climbing and snowshoeing
Spring: Nordic Walking, sea kayaking , hiking, Nordic Cross Country
Summer: Nordic Walking, sea kayaking, swimming, Nordic Cross Country
Fall: Nordic Walking, Cross Country mordique Sign in group sports or
outdoors can be a motivating and very interesting alternative for its leading
group effect!
3 – Create a timeline and identify measurable
If I want to be in top shape to make the half-marathon in September, I’m
breaking my ideal into measurable results which I can measure the evolution with
a timeline. This way I give tags concrete that will allow me to validate my
progress over weeks to achieve my goals.
For example: Target Weight Loss
January 5 – I weigh 195 pounds and I mean 180 pounds August 5, 2009
I will lose 15 pounds in seven months, making an average of 2 pounds per
month … but I know that I will gain muscle mass in my process so I would say
185 pounds, which would be more accurate (10 pounds – a average of 1.5 pounds
per month is realistic and easy to follow!).
4 – Share your challenge
Communicate your intentions and your resolution with a maximum of people.
It will be a good way to commit yourself to your challenge and if you’re lucky
enough to find someone who would be willing to motivate you and encourage you in
a moment of weakness, it will be precious!
5 – This is the time for action!
When well planned, that the tags are in place for periodic
self-evaluation, go ahead! Throughout the process, it will note the weekly
results and measure our progress, it will be very encouraging!
6 – Celebrate successes!
Tags are established to ensure that we remain on track to achieve our
goal. At the time of self-assessment, if the results are negative, it will react
quickly and adjust the means put in place. By cons, if the results are positive,
do not miss the opportunity to congratulate our efforts (call it too)!
So, I just take the first step in the right direction and you know what
your resolution will be 2010?
