Cacahuamilpa : Chontacoatlan-Taxco, Guerrero

 The area is luxurious, highly recommended !!… collapse followed by several long, full of tufas, stalactites and Chorreras … (Route 7 Mala Fama has long run the vast bovedon’s Chanchullo …) 

Besides there are also crashes roofs and vertical, the possibilities are endless and in a few places in the world are this many tufas of such good quality. 

Season: 
For the downstream sectors, preferably in winter, the weather is hot and is full of mosquitoes, 
In Chanchullo can climb all year, since it is a kind of protective bubble with excellent weather and no mosquitoes!. 
At the bottom of the cave until you can bathe in a river so that the heat becomes a problem, but that there are several flies by …

Getting There: 
From Mexico City, take the (free or fee) to Cuernavaca, and from there follow the signs to Taxco. 
A little before reaching Taxco takes the deviation from the caves of Cacahuamilpa, and reaching them is still up the road and the "Y" (where the shop and restaurant) turn left (Taxco ) 
to find a signal about 3km (notice the landlord) said that the river Chon-TA 
Do not mess around, but it remains one kilometers and you will find an entrance on the right which has a very steep descent! .. 
You get by there and ask for the Procopio family, they let you park your car and rent mules to carry equipment to sectors, best known trails and are great people! 

Walk closer: 
The walk to the yellow Amate (Wall is visible from the house of Don) is about a 15 min. 
Andalusia Chanchullo The walk is about 45min. (before reaching the amate take the path leading to the cave in the background (in the river) and half the road begins to climb upwards to the big crash that is orange on the left.) 
The walk up pillars (the entrance of the river) is 1 hours (in whole village has some arrows painted on the rocks!).
Where to stay:

You can camp at the home of the Don, in the parking lot, if you want to avoid mosquitoes and be near the car.
Amate in the wall of the yellow but you can camp store as much bug …
The last option is to walk with all the things to Chanchullo cave or the bottom and stay there for good comfortable …

The area has been armed by Carlos Garcia, Julio, Chacagua, Hanson, the FESP (jonas, Arcadi), among many others ….
We fit many more thousands of routes.
must take repellent (if you’re afraid of mosquitoes) and plenty of water,
not sleeping outside the house, unless it is inside the cave, due to the large amount of poisonous bugs.
