Brother and Sister Crossing the Himalaya

It is more likely a combination of all these ingredients we’ve had from a year cross the Himalayas on foot in full!

Alex and Astrid Bazaille, are brother and sister, 26 and 28 years, both fell in the mountains when we were young. They said-this trip, we have eighteen months to prepare, with hundreds of hours to gather information, learn Hindi, trying to find maps of the region so much is unclear, fighting with red tape, find the financing … The road to the Himalayas is full of pitfalls! Among other good plans, the approval of the FFME allowed us to open some doors and to equip a lower cost …

Parties in May 2008 in Dharamsala (North India) in search of adventures, meetings and summits, we were not disappointed. Each region offers us crossing a lot of smiles and unforgettable decor. Several errors of orientation and a few big scares – in some remote areas, the slightest injury can turn into a real nightmare – have never managed to start our thirst for discovery.
